Hello friends, I couldn't locate a place on the forum to introduce myself so I'll do it here. I live in northeast Connecticut and love the woods, relics, history, and the occasional cellar hole. I get out everyday and hope to contribute to the forum. Thanks for having me.

One will not find a better "Doc" on Land, in the Air, or at Sea to patch up and put back together Marines than a USN Corpsman. :clapping: It was always a pleasure to adopt a Corpsman into the Herd. :beers:

My Uncle was a young Corpsman in the battle of Iwo Jima. The day he returned home to Boise Idaho from the South Pacific, he and some Buddies of all things got into a car wreck. A little cut up from glass but the boys were feeling no pain.:buds:

Hello I was reading some of your replys and it sounds like you know about the Quick Draw 2. Well i just got one and right away i put brand new batteries in it and tested different coins on the ground. In all metals mode it hits on the nickel only one time and then no more. If I turn it off and back on it will beep the first time over nickel but no more. All other coins it beeps everytime you go over them. Have you experiences this with your detector or do you know what might be wrong. Please let me know Thanks
 
Sounds like a malfunction. I don't recall that happening on mine. Just in the nickel range? Very odd.
