Not had the pleasure of using one of these before. I figure post Beachscan, pre Hipmount Goldquest. Anyone familiar with the controls? My C Scope only has a threshold and a ppm control. Back of the armcup is the on/off switch and a motion/non motion switch. Belt mounted Motorola battery and curly lead. Whole thing looks like new; not a mark on the bottom of the coil. Interesting times ahead!

Doesn't seem too impressed with the interference inside my mobile home, but I guess that's a pretty harsh enviroment for a detector test!

Cheers.

Threshold set to a low hum
Sensitivity for depth and stability
Reject is for pulse delay. To much you will lose sensitivity to small gold
Frequency eliminates unwanted noise from rf , power lines and such
Motion/ non motion is coil movement Motion requires movement to hear the target non motion does not. Also on beaches without minerals non motion may do better also when working under water..
