New to MD'ing. Getting a Prizm 6t

One of my buds suggested I get a MD and get into this hobby. Well I did and happy to report I am getting a 6T shipped to me. I have read about the different MD and MD companies and I feel for the money no one can beat Whites world class service if you ever have a problem with their equipment. Plus they seems to be a very good MD and find about as well as any out there.

I picked up an F2 to start but felt I wanted to get one with good target ID, depth and discrimination. Not to say the F2 is not a good lil MD I just did not want to keep walking over ground thinking if I only had a MD that could read depth well.

Any way I am new and know very little except I like this stuff so far.

Hi and welcome to the world of dirt fishing it is habit forming.
I haven't had a 6T but have read some good reports about them plus the dealer showed me one when I purchased my mxt and I liked it but already had my heart set on an mxt.
Have seen good reports on all the whites brand detectors so I'm sure it will do you a great job.
 
Thanks Ricky.. I am really looking forward to this MD. It seems to have a good reputation for deep finds. I have a friend that has an MXT and he loves it.

Dirt fishing...lol I like it...
 
Of all the Prizm series, the 6T is the way to go IMHO.

Good luck. Look forward to seeing some good finds posted by you. Welcome again and one good thing about dirt fishing is that you never have to bait your hook !

...but you do need to "troll" with the right "lure". You'll understand soon enough. Congrats on picking up your first of, probably, many machines. Welcome aboard.

Not sure what forum I had joined, when started looking around at forums, it now looks like I have two profiles here. Oh well I sort it out when I get home. Yes I get trolling and lure. That is why I am getting the 6T. Looks to be a great lure for the money.
