Hi all Just bought Garrett Ace 250 last week. Have been here reading and learning. I have been out twice and found alot of junk. Did find 1957 Canadian penny. I have received permission to hunt some very interesting sites once the weather warms up. Anyone else here from CT??
 
I don't live there. My advice is use the Jewelery mode and dig everything till you learn the machine and hunting techniques. Welome to the hobby and have fun,Joe
 
Welcome John. Looks like you started off right by getting the 250. I do not have one but the guys that do just love it. Just take your time and learn how it works inside and out. I bet you will be very happy with this hobby. Not only can you find coins and interesting items ,but you get exercise and maybe some new scenery. Enjoy and have fun.
 
CT has a lot of history. You should make out well. I live on the north east border of CT in MA.....HH Rich
