[attachment 42154 HPIM0477Medium.JPG][attachment 42157 HPIM0476Medium.JPG] IF THERE YOURS LET US KNOW!! WE'LL TELL YA WERE THEY CAN BE FOUND!!!:poke:

I was out at Salisbury for awhile today and had no luck at all - was supposed to hook up with NTH, but my cell phone died on me. Got home and called him only to find out he picked up 2 silver rings and a 14K heavy men's band out at Salisbury today near the pavillion area.

I think he's figured out his detector!!!

He's gonna send me some pics tonight and I'll post them for him.

I found a grand total of $0.21 - worst day of detecting I've had so far this year.

I started around #8-#9, then hit south of the pavillion for awhile, finally went pretty far south.

I saw quite a few detectorists out today - saw 2 of them around the pavillion and just north of there and then ran across a guy on the south end as well.

I don't recall exactly when NTH was there - I was out from around 11am to 4pm in misc. places with very little luck.

I was in the middle of everyone. went out this morning to hit a couple of ponds but the roads were closed, did not want to head back home and end up doing yard work. Kept driving til I hit Salsbury. Parked across from church. Not much luck very little clad But what a great day to be out. Nice Pictures Beach hunter Nice collection of beach glass.Hope to run into you guys some weekend.Had good summer with silver coins nothing old but did get 9 silver halves all fresh water.Don Tyler

I enjoy the fresh water hunts I guess I am spoiled you know what I mean. Gold loves sitting in one spot til we wade on by and pick up the goodies. last summer my best year for gold rings "71" My best this year trip to the Islands Mens 1ct. total wgt20stone dia. ring

71 gold rings sounds more like 5 summers worth of rings at least! I can only hope that one of these days with practice and research I'll be at yours and George's level!

Nice job and I'm sure we'll catch each other sometime.

beach hunter is right you got the edge, most people would give there right arm to find a chain like you found this summer. some people can detect for years and have very little high end goodies to show, they will keep changing detectors thinking they are going to find the holy grail of detectors, problem is its not the detector. I bet you could give beach hunter any basic water machine and he would excel no matter what detector he would use because his senses are tuned into what to listen for. Some people just dont seem to have that gift.

those are pretty strong wire traps..........must have been a pretty big prop to mess them up that bad!
