does anyone out there know where i can go md in east tennessee?i'm not sure of the laws and don't want to get into trouble.

Welcom to the hobby!!! Im not positive about your area, but parks and elementry schools are easy coin spots. Especially if they have wood chips around the play sets!!!

hi newbe, as long as you have permission and a good machine to hunt with, and a bit of get-up-and-go, you will have no worries. the places you can go to and hunt are bound only by your imagination. anywhere you can put your coil to the ground in your part of tennessee is good. people been walking, drinking, living and fighting on that ground for hundreds of years. so anywhere is good. good luck my friend, and get the coil to the ground! and don't forget to post your finds! hh,

Hi Newbe,
What part of E. TN are you in ? I grew up in Nash. and lived in eastern TN too. You should have no trouble finding many places to hunt. Go to your local library and if your closer to Nash. try the state archives, they have a wealth of old topo maps.

Best route...get permission from private landowners and you'll never have a problem...until he or she changes their mind!

Good relics in E. TN.
