Been swinging a White's for thirty years. Last 12 with xlt. Intersted in mxt pro. In hunted out areas I can turn off audio descrimination and hunt deep in all metal and still get an approximation of the target. Anything comparable with the mxt? Although in reading your depth reports it may not be neccessary. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

Depth wise the MXT Pro is the same as the MXT when using the same coil, just added features on the Pro, plus the Pro comes with the 300mm (12") coil.

Hi Jim and welcome to the forum. Like Larry said, the MXT and the Pro will be the same in depth. It's a great choice for a detector. I love my MXT. HH, Nancy

I think that buying the MXT pro with the 12" coil and buying the 5.3 or the 6x10DD coil you will have the tools for almost any situation

that ground grab is a nice idea on the new mxt
