Hello! I just ordered my AT Pro a few days ago...I have watched the youtube flicks...I have watched a buddy of mine swing his around (great depth) and I am ready to get on with it! Anyway I thought I would just say Howdy!

Welcome Emmit, lot of good folks on here with lots of good info and answers.

My AT Pro was waiting for me when I got off work. I hurried home and fed the dogs, sent in my paperwork and assembled my new machine. Where to go test her out? Penny Park seemed like a good place to go. I clicked it on, set it to pro mode custom and ran the iron discrimination up to 30. I made it about 10' into the grass and bing bing high tone checked the target id 81-82 sweet. checked depth 6-8 inches. Sweet. Dug it--- Dime baby! It wasn't silver but it was pretty! the very first target dug was actually a coin not a pop top! I dug ten more targets in the next hour - A vehicle key, a pop top(dang it!), a broken knife blade, 2 quarters, 2 more dimes, and three pennies (all copper). All in all I really like this machine and can't wait to take it to a quality site!
