New to forum and AT Pro a coin hound!

Got My new AT Pro Wednesday from Big Boys Hobbies (smokin` deal) put it together and hit the front yard....very pleased to say the least. 16 coins and a token in a couple of hours. Next day 9 more coins....took a break on Friday. Saturday went to an old school yard and found a few more pennies....one of them a wheatie. Today I hit the yard again and found several more coins. Total after 4 short hunts 37 clad coins, 1 token, 1 small crescent wrench, 1 cutting device, 2 pieces of copper wire, and a small square piece that I think is copper and has something to do with connecting copper wire. This machine is a coin hound! I have dug some pennies and dimes at 10-12 inches and I learned real quick that if you dig, find nothing, and it says it`s there...keep digging...you will find it. I have yet to dig a hole and come up empty handed. The bottle tops sound right on the iron audio, but some aluminum cans and small food cans (Vienna sausage/sardine) that are void of iron sound off as dime targets in pro mode. Sometimes the only indicator that it is junk is that the depth indicator will jump around from 2-10+ due to the shape of the object, but with a good signal. I don`t mind digging` a few of those as long as I`m finding good targets. Guess it just goes along with the territory.

Did some digging on the internet, and turns out Dom Grieshaber and Frank Marullo are both New Orleans La. judges. Dom Grieshaber actually died a year ago this past week...his online obituary is dated march 26th 2012....I found the token on march 27th 2013....very weird. After putting it all together, this must have been some sort of political token that they handed out back in the day during a campaign around ST. Patricks day or mardi gras....how it ended up in my front yard in north Ga. is a mystery.

Sounds like you're doing great with the new machine, Mudd Dawg! Thanks for posting your finds and looking forward to seeing what else you unearth!
