New to Detecting & Forum - Question

NuggetBucket

New member
So, we are Tater and Nugget and we have been detecting for about 3 months - big-time newbs. We've been reading the forum for a while to gain tips and have learned a lot through here (thank you all!). We are having a great time detecting and are just happy to be outside. We look forward to sharing our trip reports with you :pulltab:

Quick question - on average, how many hours per week do you spend metal detecting? Do you plan your vacations around it?

A big welcome to both of you.

I'm bordering on obsessive right now, because I'm still trying to learn my new detector. But I probably get 8 to 10 hours a week in. That's about an hour a day in the morning or at lunchtime, and then a couple hours in the morning on the weekends. More if I'm lucky. :)

Do you plan your vacations around it?

Nope. At least not yet.
