New to BHID 300 some questions on what I am hearing...

Well I have been having a great time using the BHID 300 and never thought I could do all metal mode but with the lights it helps to a point and here is my question.

When supertuned and in all metal mode the lights work on bigger items or closer to surface but and the threshold goes up in sound. What is happening when the threshold drops out briefly and is repeatable? Also sometimes I get a slow rise and no lights some ever so faint I have never tried to dig one yet but thinking that is a deeper target?

Dig ALL those faint, repeatable rises/changes in threshold. I have dug some deep, small gold and dimes where there is a very slight change in the threshold in all metal even though the lights did not light up. Also dug some deep iron too, but that's the price you pay.

Dig the rises .... And ignore the dropout in threshold or dig those as well. Sorry to persist just learning this threshold and sounds and want to learn as much as I can on this. I have found some good stuff but passed over alot of slight rises in threshold I am figuring I should have dug now.

I plan on walking a river soon and would like to get to know this machine a bit more and I know ya must use it to do that! But if I can get pointers here to help it along I will :)
