Bought tiger shark from AL at pro/stock detectors first impression nice build ear phones seamed a stretch, cord being mounted underneath the housing hip mount would solve that problem .Has 8 inch coil and air tested 6 inches or so on a dime I then proceeded to the dime buried 7 inches. In disc. just a click all metal picked it up good.It doesn't seem like a mega depth machine however I bought it for inland lakes micro jewelry ect I would appreciate input on users of this model and modes that you guys hunt in.

I've got one coming also and should be here Friday. I got it for the same reasons and I am waiting to see which I like better the Tiger Shark or my old CZ 20. I think it should be a good machine based on past reports and of the Tesoro reputation.

Please keep us posted fellas! I just got the Sand Shark with 8" coil, and I LOVE it! I hunt Atlantic beaches. Cheers! - Terry

Check the manual and consider adjusting the (internal control) sensitivity setting. Mine was a bit lower than ideal when i got it.
