New Tesoro..............

If they released a DEEP, tones only machine tomorrow, I would order it before they day was up. I don't need dials, guages, or a thing that pops up when the turkey is done

I haven't used a Tesoro in years, but, if they made something like that, I would!!

I do own 3 Tesoro machines and occasionally use them not all that much i will admit,i do use my Deus as a 'Deep' tones only machine and although i do have controller i never use it,just put the wireless headphones on and go out detecting,i see it as a high tech 'Deep' tones only machine that is far more flexible but still simple as a Tesoro to use.

Not saying one is better than the other but just saying that they are not the only machine that can be used as a beep and dig machine,other options are around.

I'm beginning to believe they don't know how to make anything new. If they came out with a tones only detector I might trade my Cibola in on it but I doubt it. If I ever buy another beep and dig machine it will probably be the Vista Warrior.

Don't tell Tesoro fans to even think about the DeepTech detectors, this forum may really shrink, they are what Tesoros should be.
Tesoro needs the next unit to be similar in performance, in the umax housing or maybe a GoldBug Pro housing which are both smaller than the DeepTech housings.
And keep the pricing lower than DeepTech and they would have a winner. Hate to see what happens when the new DT US Distributor gets going....
Sorry to say I was once a huge Tesoro fan myself, once I tried the Vista Gold, haven't looked back. That detector Tesoro was working on, whatever it was called, better be better
than the Gold to lure me back.

well they are sure taking their time so maybe it will be good, fingers crossed hey

heading in to beach time for me and so the T's will get mostly rest time over the summer and I spend more time in the garden than detecting its mostly a winter sport for me to bloody hot here.

yeah I do some night fishing when I get the urge did it for years and a full winter of near every day this year , and I need a rest I think cant seem to get my head in the game, but you are right night time is the go nice summers night digging tabs does it get any better
