Well today is the day me and the little guy are supposed to get our new f70s. My little guy couldnt even get to sleep last night. I am so proud of him, this was our first summer mding and that kid is swinging like an old pro.he saved all the clad he found and even sold some of his jewelry finds to pay for the new fisher himself.Of course dad kicked in a little bit. but for an 11 year old kid to come up with over 500 dollars in finds in just a couple of months is amazing.
I am so glad my wife let me get that metal detector for my birthday, now me and my son are hooked. We have had the best summer ever just hitting parks and schools, and spending quality time together.we have best find of the day, which he usually beats me and most clad. When he gets home from school today the new fishers should be here ,I just hope it isnt raining by then. If we get out and find anything I will leave a post. Thanks for reading. Matt

Also if I remember correctly you and your son may have to run in different frequencies as imagine you hunt closely. Not unusual for the Dad to be outdone by the son as usually better hearing and more ground covered equates to more goodies..

...surely a reflection of his old man.

I, too, want an F70 and am selling and horse trading some things to get one. Things are more appreciated when they don't come easy.
Again, good job raising that boy.
