New spot, more silver!

Hunted a ball field at a school near me. Tested the spot late Sunday evening, about 30 minutes until it got dark. Found several coins in a small area and decided to go back. Headed out and arrived at about 6pm. Hunted the 1st and 3rd base lines and an area under nearby trees. Found the 1964 Rosie on the 3rd base line at 4 of 5 inches. The soil is so dry it turns to dust. I only hunted a fraction of the area, so I will be back. Maybe after a little rain, for better results.

Hey Grump, I'm hunting a similar spot with my new AT Pro. Haven't hit silver yet, oldest dime was '65, but every time I go there I come home with at least 3 - 4 quarters, 8 dimes, and at least 8 - 10 copper pennies. I know I should dig those 75 - 79 signals, but at 69, I just hate getting down for a zinc penny. Good hunting! Roger

Congrats on the silver! It's drying out around here, too. It was so nice to have the soft, damp soil for a while, sure makes life easier. Now we're getting our spring winds - it's howling out there tonight!

Hey good results!
If you do not dig the '70 / '75 will also lose the coppers old 1700/1800, so it is here ... I do not dig, usually those under 60 but surely are 99% aluminum soda caps & rings.
Have also a button to the right of the picture? Can you put a picture but if it is?
best regards

Went hunting with a buddy at an old community center. I found an 88 quarter and tons of bottles caps. Another buddy I had text-ed asked to come along, AND WAS HE GLAD HE DID! The first buddy went over the levee to Hunt a ball field. While the second was going around the tennis court I noticed an older ball field and text them both to get their attention. Only the second responded and we headed over to the field. He got there, turn on his ATP and hit a nice and heavy 14k men's ring with an 'R' on the front. Made his day, and I think it was his best find to date. Both buddies are going to hunt the site I found the silver dime at tonight. I'm just lucky enough, that they will find some silver, and leave me high and dry. I do enjoy pitting the ATP up against the V3i.
