New spot makes for a rough hunt

Well I decided to take my little one and the Stingray to a fresh water spot that I haven't been to in 7+ yrs.

Having not been there in so long I couldn't recall if the swim area was sand or gravel.... Yeeeaahh it was river rock and not just the small kind

Scoop was all but useless, so all hunting was done by hand ( I have several raw finger tips for the effort ), we were out there for 6 hrs and it netted me $2.25 in clad and a mens titanium wedding band. Not half bad for a tough hunt.

Bob right you are there is another place I am going to soon that is a sandy bottomed location and I have some good intel on a few lost items and one that was intentionaly thrown in the swim area due to a cheating spouse lol you just have to love an angry womans logic
