New spot in a lake. Looks promising!

Yesterday in lake St. Clair I managed a 1951 quarter and a silver ring. The brass Daredevil Detroit and an Abu spinner.

I hit lake St. Clair today for a dive and was able to leave my boat at Greg's (cladtomeetyou)'s house while I did work on my trailer tonight and tomorrow. Anyway hit a spot that gave up three flat buttons, One says Triple Gilt on the back and I haven't cleaned it off to see what else. A couple of musket balls, an 1865 Indian cent and a sterling religious medal also found are old.

A Zippo lighter (can't ever have too many of them, found over 100 now!) a pocket knife and a spoon and kitchen knife. Of course a bunch of shotgun shell bottoms and sinkers and some other gizmo's and gadgets.

The lighters date code is 1967.

I got some other crazy pieces of metal but I left them in the boat.

The 1865 Indian is my oldest Indian to date. My third oldest coin. Oldest coin I found is a 1572 Spanish Reale out of lake St. Clair and second oldest coin is a 1827 large cent off a beach in Lake Huron.

Other GREAT news. My CZ-21 with the 10" coil will be back this week. It cost me 63.00 to have repaired. I guess one of the contacts inside became corroded because water got into it. I WILL have silicone grease in my truck, boat and everywhere else I can think of from now on!!

great age at that spot...out east here flat buttons = large cents.... anything could pop up ther..good luck...

Nice~!
