New spot gives silver.:garrett:

Well, the old inner city park my buddy and I hunted yesterday and again this morning was new for me. My buddy and others had hunted it a number of years ago and he and some guys took a good bit of silver from it back then. In fact, one of the guys stated it was a "matt of silver back in the late 70's and into the 80's." Anyway, I got 3 silver dimes this morning and 5 wheat cents and some clad. The wheats were 40's and 50's. The silvers this morning were 34 and 37 Mercs and a 54d Rosie. Yesterday I got the 64d Rosie, 6 wheats and about the same numbers of clad. And, my buddy has out scored me the two days combined. A T Pro with 11" coil and running in pro zero, iron off and 8 sen. Dig em good guys and gals. HH jim tn

Those kind of places are hard to find these days. nice!

That's 4 more sweet old silvers for your collection!! It's always fun to dig scouting slides, too.

Those mercs sure are beautiful! You took to the Pro pretty quickly I must say. Nice work!:clapping:

Great digs bud. I have only found one Merc. up here, which I got this year. As a kid in southern Ontario they were fairly common in our pocket change. Now they are as rare as hens teeth.
