New Site, New Old Silver and a little Indian with the CZ-70 today

I went out to an old farmhouse that is now gone from the early 1900's this morning and hunted for a couple of hours. I brought the EX II but decided to use the "70" today since I can hunt faster. I started in the front of the house around the biggest tree. The first coin I dug was an 1902 IH, the first of the year, about 3 inches down, high coin. The second was a nice 42 merc, the first silver of the year, about 4 inches down...now I was really pumped. Then dug 3 wheaties 30, 40-D, and 44 along with some clad...Later came the 1940 Washington about 4 inches down...overall a fun morning..no barbers(probably covered over with fill)...I'll be back...HH

That 1902 IH seems to be a common date. I find more of those than any other single year.

Nice work. Looks like a decent site. So will you hit it next time with the Explorer II? I'm hitting the beach today, I think. Low tide at 3:30, so heading out in a little bit.
