New Site For This Old Guy!

Finally a decent day in Ohio, I went out for the first time in over 6 weeks, I have been suffering from a very painful Sciatica attack and it is just now easing off. I was able to do an hour and believe me that was enough…hopefully soon I can go longer. Went to a new site for the first time and it looks promising, Diane got some buckles and a Buggy Shaft end, I got some bits and two coins, a 1904 Indian and a Large Copper! The Copper was quite worn and it took a bit of cleaning before I could ID it a 1844 Bank of Montreal Half Penny Token! I felt pleased that I found some keepers, it seems so long!

nice hunt. whats a buggy shaft end?

The shaft s on a buggy that the horse is hitched to are wooden so they had a brass cap to protect them when they rested on the ground.

Well done with the finds and well earned by the sounds of your Sciatica problem.

Lots of us creaking these days, but still detecting.

Its the way to go.

Happy Hunting,

Jerry.

Congrats on the great finds !

Nice finds. I have had Sciatica for the past two years, going through shots and nerve blocks, i would have had to stop detecting if it wasn't for the light weight of the Deus, this makes it all possible.

Hope you are on the down side of back problems and more nice recoveries in the future.

Great finds. How the heck did you get the IH so clean? Looks mint. When I had a sciatica bout, my great chiropractor cured it with a "stretcher" which relieves the pressure on the nerve. Hope you get to feeling better.

It was not bad coming out of the ground tooth pick and soft brush did the rest.

Excellent!
