New Silver U Max.

I picked up a Silver U Max to do some local coin hunting. The 1266 xb too darn deep and iron sensitive. Dealer was Thomas Linn..First thing I found was that he had opened the box to make sure the unit was working, he filled out his info part of the warranty card, included a battery, and all this ,on a note, with,"any questions, please e mail"... One of the times I ordered by mail, the detector arrived not working, several days before a special vacation..So quite pleased with this young mans service..Reading the instructions, and will be doing some testing ..I usually don't use ear phones. Some of the CZ guys rolled their eyes at this....Have this 74 year old ex Navy kid who is supposed to find me a pair..Want to get him digging ..In the event he doesn't have or can't find , anyone have a set for trade? My targets will be a half dime, worn Barber dime, Indian head, cent,, Black Hills gold ring., 1/10 oz $5.00 coin. You all mention nickels, so will try both (nickel and silver)..Will try an upload a "for trade" photo, mostly Barber,odd.... just noticed the WL halfs are 1917(3) and one in the 40's..And a Roosevelt (?????)..You never know what is going to turn up around here..Anyway, thanks for all your comments about the Silver U... I saw one going far too low, put in a bid and got an excellent price. Cordially NAD.........Photo didn't take.. Sorry, I don't know how to shrink them
