General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I have been looking for a larger scoop to use with my Excal. The five incher that I have been using was just two small. I sent emails to six (6) different dealers from the Sponsors List that had the same brand but not the size listed on their web pages. . Two of them answered me. Richard at Backwoods Detectors was the quickest to respond (as usual) but he was unable to get the scoop that I wanted. Ron at Windy City Detectors was the second to respond and he had the scoop in stock. I guess the other four are too busy to be bothered with answering an E-Mail inquiry. If they are that busy then they don't need or want my business. Thanks Richard and Ron for your attention to Customer Care.
 
Granted you heard from only two of the premier dealers and can't go wrong buying from either...

But you might be a bit harsh judging the others Sir... All of Finds Treasure Forums sponsors have demonstrated exceptional service and abilities.

Elton I will have to respectfully disagree with you. I do not believe that I am being unduly harsh as I still have only heard from the two dealers. The others have completely ignored my query. One dealer that I have spent considerable money with in the past did not answer Private Message, E-Mail to his sales dept or return phone call to his answering service. I am very happy to do business with folks like Richard at Backwoods Detector Sales and Ron at Windy City Detector Sales as they have demonstrated to me that they want my business. Those that did not answer my query will never hear from me again. I spent 13 years working in a big box sporting goods retail store and I recognize customer service when I see it being done and I also recognize the lack of customer service.
