New Safari Owner

Guys,

I got a Safari and I am currently using a X-terra 705. Looking for some help on the learning curve.

1. Batteries what to get.. do I go with rechargeable AA or get the battery packs that I can plug in
2. I hunt old homestead and farms any tips
3. cross programming cons and pros?

Congrats & good luck. Just an FYI the Manual says DONT use Lithium batteries as they can cause voltage overload & void the warranty. I use AA NIMH Rechargable batteries. I also hunt All Metal 99% of the time, just my preference.

definately use rechargable. I have 2 packs and they last a long time.
