New S-12 Intruder

ikon

New member
Hi Guys,
I just got my new S-12 intruder for my GT in today. I know Donny from Jersey has one and i'm just wondering if there are any different setting i'd want to use with it. my detecting partner and myself mostly detect big parks and fields so i'm hoping they won't be too trashy for it but i can fall back on my 8" coil. I sure can't wait to try this baby on the beach. It feels lighter then the 10"coil. Also, will this intruder work on a excalibar in the water? I'm sure its waterproof but i just thought i'd ask.

Thanks,

Stan Pa.

My S-12 and Grey Ghost Headphones are in the mail from David at Dixie at this moment, I'll be sending them in with my Excalibur to be hardwired asap! It is waterproof. H.H.:)

So far I'm lovin my S12 on my Elite........its lightweight, balanced, covers great and goes Deeeeeeeeeeeeeep too, havn't come across anything real trashy yet with it but for big open fields & beaches its Super so far! having a S5/8 or ML800 would be a good idea also for certain situations. I also have and extra ML Sov Digital "180" meter to sell or maybe trade for a Sunray S5/8 or ML Tornado 800 or GT Upper Straight Shaft also if anyone is interested.

Have you sold your 180 meter? I am interested in buying one. It must be in like new condition.

Please let me know if you still have it and what you are asking for it.

Thanks,

PaPa

hey donny,
yesterday was the first time i had my intruder 12 out. got to say it run nice a smooth and didnt feel too big at all. we detected a big farm . didnt find anything but i didnt get a few pull tabs that were pretty deep. all it all id say this sunray 12 is a real nice coil. at first it was alittle confusing to pinpoint with but after a couple targets i got it down pretty well. im happy with it.
