New record for my clad count !

Today i went hunting with Luke again. Pretty windy and cold, around 5 degrees Celsius in the morning. Nose kept dripping all day :(
Well not a bad day after all thaugh. Sun showed up at the end of the day and Boy am I tired again!
we re-re-re-re-re-visited the same beach we did last week where i got my 14K bracelet. Luke got the first nice signal, a silver ring, then a little later he got a small gold pendant. Now we all know what this usually means... i'll beat him with a chunkyer find... it took a long while but i did managed a men's ring with a tiger eye stone (broken). Only 10K, but hey a man's ring is always welcome! We had lunch and redo the whole place again. Signals were really scarces but i did found a nice silver chain and a small pink stone earring.
We left the place and wont be back there this year for sure. We still had plenty of time, so we decided to try our luck at an other camping site not too far. We knew our Buddy Bob did the place, probably several times, but decided to try it anyway. Well Bob did a great jod there ! We only got a few coins here and there. Well we went back home a little earlyer than usual, arounf 4:00h pm, but it's a good thing, i'm exausted anyway!
Total of the day for me is 3 silver and one gold. ANd for the record, got 20 bucks in change, so my year's total is just over a thousand dollars this season ! And i'm now up to 70 gold, so 3 more and i'll beat last year's record.

Luke, your amazing, your perserverence is awesome. I have some qts however. With the water being that cold, are you hunting up to neck deep? Ankle deep? or what? what are you wearing for clothing? Wet suit, dry suit, waders? Do you have waterproof gloves. Give me some ideas. Cubfan64 and I were out today from 6am until 4pm. He did pretty decent but I got a major skunk. Help????? The water from the wind chill was freezing and the wind was howling. I have no problem getting up that early but I better damn sure bring loot home.

On this particular case it was easy... lake was drained. But usually we are wearing neoprene wadders, long arm submersible gloves and a good rain coat. This means i can go as deep as I can with my wadders... i'm 6'3'' so this give me a little edge sometimes :)
