Anyone know if minelab are updating the etrac to a new model ,the explorer range has been on the go for some time.

They don't announce such things, however it has been my observation that the Explorer/E-Trac has a new model each three years. That 3 years will elapse in September this year, so that would be my best guess as to when we will see a new model released.

Minelab need to do something about weight,and processor speed,its ok having all that depth but its not everything,here in the UK there getting a good run for there money by the latest XP...........

I can't prove it, but with the new warranty transferability, I have a feeling we're going to see a new Minelab Detector model or upgrade this year.
