New poll what klhz coils were used for your greatest finds

Hey hey, well so far my best finds have been made with the stock coil. Only other one used besides has ben a 5x10 HF DD, and will soon have a 3 khz as well. From what I know and have read, it should be a good one but will let ya know.

Jay

1859 indian head cent
1904s barber half
Both on stock 7.5 khz 9"

I did not find many silvers this year till I got the 3kHz it seems like that is when my silver finds went up dramatically. I have been getting old silver and copper almost every week now using it. I think it is that good!

The 10.5" DD 7.5kHz to me is the best all around coil. 1848 large cent at 11", 1906 Barber dime at 10" and a mans size 14 18k gold ring at 10 or 11".

To Be Perfectly Frank With You - My best finds were found using the 5" x 10" DD 18.75khz coil. I truly like the way this coil separates the good stuff from the bad. However I am seriously considering the purchase of the 9" Concentric 3khz coil. I truly wish Minelab made a 6" 3khz coil but, apparently, that's just a dream.
