I don't like to start rumors or give away secrets but here is a post Carl made.

White's has a new PP in development. We are waiting on completion of the plastic housing, so I cannot comment on a release date.- Carl

So now I will say that if you are thinking about a new pinpointer I would wait. This is going to be a good one. Don't ask me for details yet. [attachment 259884 Dime-01-june.gif]
 
I have relied on my vibraprobe for a long time now... I look forward to more depth and sensitivity on small targets.
 
A good pinpointer is sorely needed from White's. Minelabs introduction sounded promising but it didn't seem to catch on. I did like their find feature (beeping) if it was lost though. If White's comes up with a hybrid between Garretts and Minelab, I think it would be a winner.
 
I use one of these.............. and for about 35 bucks it works really well, also been using it for a couple years now, no problems and no interference.
Gotta say though I am really looking forward to what White's is coming up with.

I use a Detector Pro pistol probe. It's a little big, but it's a mini PI detector and can punch the ground a few inches! I look forward to seeing the Whites creation.

You must be a psychic......its going to be just that! A hybrid winner.
 
I haven't seen anything yet James, do you have a link to the info? Price is going to be the key, that is what killed the Minelab introduction, it was too expensive for what you got.

No rumors. There is no link at this time. All I can say is....it will be a combination of Minelab & Garrett style. I dont know about the price but you would think it would closer to the Garrett price.
 
I have used about all the pin pointers out there and sold them all, I like the pro pointer the best as I used it so much i wore the first one out, now on my second one, looking forward to using the new whites.
 
Some more things that I forgot to mention.....some features used and NOT used by the other companies but HIGHLY desired. If all goes as planned....unique and different than any other made!
 
I've been asking about launch times for a while now and they aren't going to push it out the door until it's ready. Early "guessing" does no one any good and know for a fact it will be worth looking forward too. (Wouldn't stop me from getting a pinpointer if I needed one though.....too important to do without.) Some surprises.....

Unless someone has made a mistake and I don't think they have......It WILL be something to look forward too! Not just a new pinpointer... but new technology as well. A Pinpointer is a pinpointer (so to speak) but this is drastically "different" than anything else on the market!
 
The new pinpointer will be just what most of us will be using when it comes out. I keep in touch to know what is happening in development. You noticed we haven't had any factory posts on the subject. That's because even though there is a prototype, there is not a finished unit.

When Whites wants us to give out information we will do it. God, do you remember what happened with Vision?

Thats what I thought..... but new information has come to light since then...and if as planned....it will be much more!
