Got to hunt a school that I have passed on several occassions. The playground is fenced and locked. I decided to stop and see if I could get permission from some one there to hunt the playground.The principal was there and after a brief conversation;and her scrutinizing my TVA metal detector pass; she decided that I could. I found a small silver bracelet;brass hose nozzle;cheap ring and lots of clad. I was 2 away from tying my personal best on qtrs for one hunt(35);but 33 isnt bad..The total in clad for the day ;however: was a personal best. $12.20. Not too bad for about 90 minutes of hunting.

Think I will have to stop there again next yr. HH

Steve I just got back from a big morning myself coin wise...also 2 rings <nothing special....but mine are mostly pennies will post after i sleep....:goodnight: <work midnights....

Oh now I remembered! Is that a new dollar coin in the middle???:confused:
 
$8.00 an hour is a great hunt in anyones book. Glad to see those president dollar coins are starting to be found now. Gotta love a hobby that pays for itself.There should still be a lot left if nobody else is hunting there. HH... Good Luck ...Richard A.:cool:
 
GOD BLESS YOU FOR ASKING PERMISION I WENT TO ASK PERMISION AT AN OLD 1862 FARM AND WAS DENIED BECAUSE TWO OTHER METAL DETECTORISTS JUST DID NOT ASK SO I GOT THE WRATH OF THE OWNER AND A NO WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY FOUND TO BAD GOT TO PLAY BY THE RULES

Yes it is one of the new Washington dollar's. It is the first one I have found so far. It also was the first coin I found this morning. I "knew" it was going to be be a great hunt after that..

Glad you found one what did it vdi at if you remember?? My Sac dollars come in like quarters 84! No new dollars for me yet!
