New parks shows some possibility ! Indian heads and brown bess musket.

Hit a city park 16 miles to my West I have been itching to swing the Explorer over. Wasn't crazy about soil conditions (seemed like a lot of ash fill) but I did manage to pull out 1881 and 1885 indian head cents as well as the miniature brown bess musket. Unfortunately the musket broke when I yanked it out of the ground. If I knew what is was, I would have been more careful retrieving it. This place could use some more exploring. Looks like a modern pool and basketball courts were added so I'm not sure where any original untouched soil might be. At least I know there's some keepers in there. Nice to have a change of location though ! Both indian heads had great detail but sitting in the damp soil did a job on them.
