I see we have quite a few new owners posting. Ask your questions on the forum not in personal messages. You will get a better answer. I have more time to spend on the forum questions.

If you don't understand basic detector theory read Carl's explanation in the VX3 manual. Also the V3 manual has more information then the V3i manual. The on board manual is super.

The search feature on this forum is a great learning tool.

Start out with a factory program and only make changes after you learn the purpose of the change.

When you post a question you will get your best answer if you ask one question per post. It will work better than, " I need all the help I can get."

Read and practice. ROB Carl has an advanced user guide at the top of the forum in the references. A very good read.
 
I have learned a lot this year about the V3i Just by reading the info all these great hunters post. I was one of those private messages also to get info. Thanks again for making my hunting a lot easier to understand, Don Tyler Merrimack, NH
