New Owner Of A Vison Frequency Question

Guys,
Can I operate the V3 in two selected frequencies like the DFX? I get terrible interference when operating in three and I cant seem to figure out how to turn just 2 on to get rid of the instability. It seems like I can only activate all 3 or 1 at a time.

You can only use one of them or all three. Can not use two.

"terrible interference," I would think that opting for only 2 frequencies (which you can't) wouldn't really be the answer. I've worked a couple of sites where I was quite close to some power generation that gave me fits, regardless of which single frequency I chose. The only way I could work it was to run with a reduced Rx Gain and even drop the Disc. Sensitivity down to about 65.

In other sites, if 3 doesn't cut it then I've figured I would be better off with just 1 anyway. I've always enjoyed detecting and finding more than tinkering and like the quicker access to a lot of functions, but ,.... I also like to keep some changes quick and simple. As with former multi-adjustable models, you can tailor a few things to improve performance, or you can do a lot of adjusting and really screw things up. So, I keep my approach as simple as possible.

The only frequency that is unstable is the lowest. I have an XLT and Spectrum that are both solid as a rock but the V3 is all over the place at stock settings and 3 freq. I would think that operating on two frequencies would be a great benefit in the future if they upgrade the software at a later date to allow it. 7.5 and 22 would be great for general purpose hunting and finding the smaller and lower conductivity things like gold. Just my 2 cents.:detecting:

For the record, a F75 is completely unusable at this same site. I absolutely love the V3 so far-best overall detector I have ever used in 29 years of detecting. :please::whites:
