New owner of a F70

I just got a new metal detector, the Fisher F70 from a trade on thetreasuredepot and I was wondering if anyone can give me any tips or hints on using it?

anything I should know about using it and how to adjust my settings to get the most out of it.

BTW it has the stock coil and coil cover and a fisher 6.5 eliptical

also I for some reason can not use the search properly, I tried searching for "F70" but nothing is coming up
 
Well congrats!

Start reading the posts and copy to a word type document at home. You will have to do some digging but I think you will find some real good topics and answers you might have..

since I have the 6.5 eliptical, do I really need to use a cover on it? I dont have one but if I should get one let me know

also how should I ground balance it?

also can someone explain the search button on here, I put in "F70" and it comes up with no threads......weird
