New outlaw on the way !

Can't wait to try out the new outlaw this weekend on a old house site . I hope, I will like it as much as I do the little silver umax.

Its a nice machine, let us know

I bet you're gonna like it. It has some really neat features once you figure out how to use em. Let us know!

The Silver is one sweetheart of a detector. From what I hear the Outlaw is even deeper and has that lovely uMax audio. I'm betting you are gonna love it! Let us know.

Yes you are gonna like it if you like that silver micro max! The outlaw is a powerful platform with all it's features and yet still remains simple and fun to use. It runs smoothly just like the silver does and is pretty darn good at giving the user awesome feedback on targets amongst the trash and nail infested sites. The depth from these machines are pretty adequate for most hunting. I have tried and own a lot of different tesoro machines old and new and I still rank this one as my favorite machine. Be sure to learn it properly and have fun hunting. There is some good information given on this machine in the past on this forum. Just one note when the battery gets low this machine will act crazy. The battery test doesn't seem to give a real accurate representation of the battery level so keep an eye on this and don't be alarmed like I was. The battery life on this machine is good though.

I did the field report on the Outlaw on the Tesoro website, I think it is a great detector. I run it at MIN. Disc. and a neutral Ground Balance setting. The Outlaw in my soil equaled several of my friends high dollar detectors in depth and is better in the small nails. In my field test... I told it like it happened, no embellishment what so ever, although they did delete/edit some minor annoyances like the battery test and the RED Button that caused some people to have problems. I will say use this RETUNE button with caution, I will not repeat it here but look at my field test on the Outlaw. I used the RETUNE button everytime out in my tests and it worked.

Tabman,

I guess you did:thumbup: I am going to be using one again soon! and at some better spots I have researched if I can gain permission. I just hope I do not get shot down again from land owners that have watched the National Geographic Channel's "Diggers" show. I just can not imagine a detector company sponsoring such a show. Rant Over. Happy Hunting to All, no matter what machine you use!
