New Orleans Area

KenC

New member
I will be in New Orleans and am interested in beach/water detecting. Are there local sites in New Orleans vicinity or is it best to venture to Biloxi area?

Ken
there are not many good beaches in the New Orleans area. New orleans is surronded on one side by the mississippi river and on the other by the lake. which most people dont swim in.
since katrina the biloxi area beaches are full of trash making it hard to detect
my buddy and i usually go to the alabama or flordia coast to water detect.
