Wow!!! Wished i found this site earlier! Great site, Lot's (tons) of info!!! Great!

I am Michael an live in the Netherlands, i have been detecting now for over 6 months and wished i started 15 years earlier...
I all ways wanted to give it a try, but my former wife didn't appreciate it (i divorced her , but my new girlfriend said, give it a go and now we hunt the beached together!
We both love the outside time and hunting for treasure
Just wanted to let you guys know that i really appreciate all the postings and all the info you give!

Well back to all the topics... I've got allot of reading to do

I think in a good relationship, you have to let go each other for as far as possible. You may not like all of each others hobby's, but it's really nice to have someone who understands and also likes what you are doing for a hobby.
I know a lot of guys that hangout in bars.. Spending allot of money and all the have is allot of trouble with there wife's...:-(
We split the "to do list" and the rest of the time i can do whatever i want

I will keep u posted about our findings, and i can keep on reading this site till i drop! Man so much info! Great!

At the beginning i had a really hard time, it was not my decision... I didn't get married for nothing.. But after a while, i realized that it was one of the best things that happened in my life....
Now i know who my friends are and i have a really nice lady who takes me for who i am I am doing things that was not possible in my previous relation..

But let's talk detecting Today i am going to check the forum for the digital meters... I read some things, but my English is not that good:-( I don't understand what the difference is between a 550/180 meter.... ( i mean the digital Target indicator meters...)
My girlfriend likes to see numbers on a screen when she is detecting... I like to listen to the "beebs" and "humming" of the machine... But what the girl wants, she gets

I do not want to post a topic that's all ready been posted.. You know what i mean? But maybe if i don't understand, i will make one and explain why...
