Hi Everyone,
I just joined the forum after reading your posts for some time, I couldn't take it anymore and had to get a V3 for myself.
I ordered a 5.3 coil with it and notice there is no V on it. Should I have gotten one with a V or is that something that is only on certain coils?
I've only been out once with it so I'm in the learning mode yet and dig everything but I'm impressed with this detector. I think it's going to be great.

Believe it should, if you look on the 10" that came with your V3 stamped into one of the wing tab's you should see a V and mine has a M also above a number, I just bought the 4X6 and it has stamped on one of the wings of the coil a VM above number 0179. Hope this helps!
 
Call White's and they will take care of it ;-)

I just checked the coil and it has no V on it. It has 6X with 0316 below.
I'll call White's as suggested by Jerry.
