New NEL Coils

I noticed a buzz about these new NEL coils and so did a little web searching on them. The have them out for Minelabs, Garretts, and several other detectors but so far as I can see no Sovereign compatible units. Those might show up in the near future because they said in one review that they will be releasing them for other detectors too. Wierd thing is they call the 12" coil a Tornado coil. That's going to cause confusion among Sovereign owners. The coil looks a lot like the Pro Coil. They also have a 8x6 or 6x4 or something sized coil for trash hunting. Anybody know if they plan a Sovereign version?

They also make a 18X15. A little information on the E-Trac forum. Since there are no forum sponsors there is not much information here. Why not make the coils for Soveriegns? Seems to be a lot interested Soveriegn users out there. Glad to see you posting again hope you are feeling better. HH :minelab:

Thanks, yes I am feeling better. The job search is still going rough. A lot of guys laid off in the HVAC field that have experience and most help wanted ads for HVAC want 5 to 10 years experience. Plus this time of year is the slow season. Things pick up around May as the cooling season kicks in. I talked to one HVAC company and they said right now they can hardly keep their guys working due to the warm winter weather and furnaces not running as much.

I'm branching out and trying to find other fields that can use HVAC service and troubleshooting skills but it's hard to come up with ideas.

ok i found it .. it looks to much like the pro coil i think they asking a bit to much for a coil that starting to come to light

Starvr talked to them and was told they have no intention of producing one for the Sov. That makes you wonder why. Ive heard nothing but good things about its ability. It would be an interesting combo.
