I have been told by White's that the wireless headphones will be standard on all new Spectra series detectors and the D2 can be added now to your MXT. Re-engineering the MXT for the headphones are doubtful though.
I have most of the factory coils for the MXT but if I had to pick just one it would be the D2 and if I had to pick 2 it would be the shooter and D2, third would be the 6x10 but I'm glad I've acquired all the coils I have for it cause they all come in handy now and then. I haven't used the stock coil for a few years now but it's a great coil too but with all the other coils I have no need for it any more!
