Well,Idid it. I dove into my checkbook and got my new mxt yesterday "I have not told my woman yet and I hope she doesn't ask how much I paid for it!"I hope I find a big diamond ring with it before she asks! If you know what I mean. Anyhow I had the bountyhunter 202 from wallyworld and I went into my back yard where Ive used the bh many times and in about five minutes My first good contact was a wheatie penny at 6 inches, this was my first wheatie also that Ive found at all. To me the mxt has paid for itself already. Then I went to my grandfathers house where ive used the bh also many times and I found four more wheaties all at 5 inches. then I went back to my house and later in the day I hit the front yard and dug up many pennies and a toy cap gun about the size of my hand at 8 inches, that gun has been there awhile. all this was in the coin mode. I like it!!
 
It gets better...but as far as the wife goes,by a cheap cubic zirconium diamond ring and bury it in the backyard and have her nearby when you dig it up...

Let me tell you what I think about the MXT.
I LOVE IT; IT KICKS A#%!!!
Some of what I have learned since I have had it:
1. In trashy areas, use Relic Mode and dig the beeps.
2. If looking for coins, there are several ways to get A LOT of info. about the target. You can look at the VDI (you will learn the good numbers for your area), hold the Pinpoint in and the coil level, and you can get a good estimate of the size of the object (large is usually junk), if the depth shows as 0 to 1, and you don
 
I had both ExplorerII and DFX sold them and went back to a MXT alot easier to use.
