i have used the preset and experimited. love machine still looking for the sweet spot, any suggestions.
 
Hey Dave, Welcome to the forum. This forum has catagories and if you scroll down you will find a Whites MTX forum just for your questions!! This one is for todays finds and probably not a lot of MTX users here right now. If you look through that forum you will probably find loads of advice on the first and past pages. Yeah go to the MXT forum and you 'll get some really good tips. I am a MXT user and I like it a lot. My biggest suggestion is learn to hunt in the relic mode even if you are hunting coin and jewerly. The relic mode is so much better in my opinion. There are some good tips on locking in your ground balance (depending on your ground) etc. Usually I lock mine in to 50 ( for my area) use the relic , trigger forward, little or no descrimination and go by the high tones. If you get used to digging by what the screen says , you'll miss some good targets. good luck N happy hunting.
