New MXT Hipmount..."Hot Rocks" issue

Been lurking here for quite some time...Tons of excellent info from knowledgeable users...Finally joined in December. Upgraded to a new hipmount yesterday. Quite a machine!

Took it to a heavily worked picnic area nearby last evening. First dug target was a 1944 Merc! But, WOW, the "Hot Rocks". I'm not used to dealing with them using my 6000 Di Pro SL...Knocks them out.

Can't find any reference to them in the Manual or on the DVD. I know I can't be the only one with this issue...Have I missed something, again?

One bad thing about this unit tho...Wife likes it A LOT & is making $$$ noises! I may have to sell the ACE 250 she got a coupla weeks ago and...?

Thanks for any/all suggestions.

Welcome to the MXT family, it's a great machine.

Here is a link to Chris' website:

Hopefully, that might help. I have accumulated lot's of stuff on the MXT over the years. If you would like a copy, just email me.

Good hunting,
OldeTymer
