New member
Well, I broke down and ordered a new MXT today. I'm also getting the 6x10 DD coil and Jeff Fosters book "The MXT Edge". Hope to have some nice finds to post in the near future.

HH Dale

You're on the right track. Next important thing is research, research, and more research. Because, just as in business the key to success is location, location, location.

Welcome aboard Dale, You wont regret buying the MXT and this is a great forum.:whites:

Welcome to the forum Dale. This is a great place for information on the MXT and also just down right helpful techniques. Ya just have to ask. Also don't forget to check your "PM's" (Personal Messages).

I'm from Central Illinois. You??

I wish you the best of luck and knowledge of where to hunt.

Nancy

Welcome Dale. We can't wait to see your first post showing us your finds using your MXT. Lot of good folks on this forum, I think you will right at home here. HH Dennis in Idaho

I also have just purchased the MXT 300,new to the field seems as though I have let work take over, but no more.
I was into SCUBA for years love to fish but can't seem to find ( or take) the time anymore. This is going to be my new
relaxation and stress relief.I have enjoyed what little I have done so far and am learning on the fly. have done a lot of research
trying to be able to fine tune, could use some pointers on settings and tweeking for best performance.
the 300 came with the 12" coil and I recently got the 6"DD excellarator coil for some thrasy sites I have been to.
any and all advice and direction would greatly appreciated...
RL

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome. I'm very anxious to get and use the MXT. I wish I had the "MXT Edge" to read while I wait. I do have a M-6 my wife will be able to use when I get the MXT. Nancy, I'm from Fairmont City, IL. Just across the river from St. Louis. Can see the Arch from my neighborhood. Dale

Lucky you.......the Arch is a beautiful sight. I've seen it since I was a itsy bitsy.......OK, enough of that. I'm old, okay??!!! But still young at heart. I congratulate you on your purchase. It's very fortunate that you'll have a hunting partner. That's the "priceless" find. Larry and I love hunting together and same with Dennis and his wife from Idaho. Just can't get any better. WE cant wait to see what all you find. Doesn't matter if it's coins or pull-tabs. That means you're using your machine and learning. Remember, we've all been in your shoes and we'll be excited as though it was ourselves. HH to all, Nancy
