Anyone have ANY details on a new Minelab detector?
Any news at all?
A friend of mine has mentioned it, and others have mentioned it, but I see no info on the internet.
Im wondering if its going to be a general purpose machine or dedicated toward gold prospecting?
I am in the market for a general purpose, multi frequency unit.
 
I have been hearing rumors or mentioning of a new model for the last couple of years,
but to be honest, I would not get too wrapped up in waiting for a new model with the selection out there now.
No detector is going to be perfect.
Personally, I have been running the Equinox since Fall of 2019, but was hesitant to buy one due to all the issues people were complaining about with them.
After some consideration and coaxing from another forum member and after seeing how good it was performing for him, I finally decided to get one, and I have not regretted it all.
I have no plans to upgrade anytime soon and not the least interested in the Deus 2 or Legend... not saying they are not better, but I just do not see the need for it.
For me, the Equinox is a great general purpose detector and in my opinion, very easy to learn and very simple to operate.

I'm waiting on the Equinox 1100.
With a video screen showing live images of what's in the ground on a single pass. 🙂😁😅

THE NEW MINELAB IS CALLED THE MANTICORE , IT'S A NEW MULTI IQ. LOOKS LIKE A MUCH STRONGER VERSION
OF THE NOX. BUT IT'S NOT A NOX!
 
Yep just saw it calabash might be the first to test one against the Mighty Deus 2 lol!

wow... link went dead so try this link... does have a etrac/ctx 3030 pattern/screen at the bottom... now the link is ok ???? what is going on there..LOL...
