New Minelab owner

Hello All

I'm new to the forum. I'm glad I came across this board! I'm a new Minelab SE owner. I've been using a Whites XLT for a long long time, so the transition is weird for me.. but it'll be fun. I'm sure I'll be posting a few questions.

Thanks!!!!
DB

Keep us posted as to how you like it.........

I'm a former XLT user myself and Im buying an Explorer SE either tonight or tomorrow morning....

Only problem is I won't be able to use it for awhile due to the weather here in Colorado........

But I'm planning a trip to florida shortly... This way I can Fianlly use my Excalibur that I just bought too....

Nice. Will do. My first observation is that pinpoint with the Double D is definitely different than pinpointing with the XLT. I think I'm getting a handle on it. I'm also getting use to the tone id, I never used tone on my XLT (but probably should have).

Hi DB,

Don't let all those tones frustrate you. Soon they will be playing music to your ears. My old coin finds shot up way up when I went to the Explorer. Throw a 15" Wot or a 12.5" Sunray coil on the SE and you'll have a great beach machine with great coverage for those beaches in Florida.

Good Luck and have fun!
