Looks pretty high tech

here is the video.........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGsjdlZL0e4

contact your dealer for pricing information. HH Randy

I thought you may have been testing it for months!

No, I wasn't involved with testing the Pro-Swing 45.

But in the short time I've been using it, I will say it works great on the big coil!

I just saw that and am wondering where the best deal is going be. For MineLab customers, I think they should offer an introductory coupon.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's $175. Granted it is pretty sweet looking. My concern would be that might be kind of hot to wear though.

Looks awesome I have thought about one also but not sure how often I would use it If I hunted a GPX I would really see the need

My thoughts exactly!---I'll bet the guys with the "super detectors" (GPX's) are really going to like that harness.----Does look like it could get hot wearing it.

a Knowledge Base article from their website: http://www.minelab.com/__files/f/184021/KBA_22%20PROSWING%2045%20W8%20technology.pdf

the brochure: http://www.minelab.com/__files/f/170138/4907-0661%20Brochure,%20PRO-SWING45%20(letter)%20US%20WEB.pdf

That video is pretty informative, and did a good job selling it...

Is there any way I can contact the young Australian lady in the video with more questions?
j/k

I'm all for high tech improvements for metal detectors, but this seems like overkill for a machine advertised as a well balanced, easy to use detector. Perhaps they designed this harness for top of the line gold machines. I wish they would produce a high quality set of underwater head phones instead.

They may have done their advertisement with the CTX, but of course this thing is universal like other harnesses. No matter how well balanced it is you still have to carry its weight and this could help. A lot of detectorists are not young and something like this could help them detect for much longer time I imagine. I do like all the attachment points for different things I'd like to carry with me.

What you say is true, but the only time I need some help swinging this machine is with the 17" coil, and I'm almost 84 years old. I bought a simple harness priced in the $25 price range to mostly offset the added weight. It works fine. Now I'd like to find a good set of waterproof head phones that work well.

Wow Nes! Almost 84! I will be bones long before that... Let alone still able to swing a coil!

Were you around for the CTX when it was first announced? It was the same thing... Teaser video, month or so wait, full release with pricing... From what I hear it will be in the 170 range

Same reason they don't list prices for detectors on their website...... you can't buy products from Minelab. All sales must go through on of their authorized dealers. And that is where you can find out the prices. At least that is how I understand it. JMHO HH Randy

Wow! For real?
