NEW METHOD FINDS SAC!

Rob M

New member
I heard Bill mention to someone with a 4.5" sniper that he should lower his sens. to 1 get right up against play equipment poles. So I lowered my sens. to 3 which is the lowest setting on the 2500 and that allowed me to get almost 2" from some equipment. Now, I have hit this park hard before so when I came up with a target so close to the pole I new I might have used this new method to my potential and sure enough a "SAC DOLLAR" and my first ever. Now the funny part, I get home and it must have fallen out of my pouch because I coudn't find it anywhere so I went right back to the park and notched everything but the coins and after a few short sweeps I found it! Since it was larger it probably cart-wheeled out of my pouch. Oh well, no foul. By the way, 9.5" coil.
Here it is for those who like to look at stuff;

Maybe a larger and deeper pouch might have saved the trip back from the Sac falling out.
Maybe a XXXL pouch for all the finds to haul home - or a wheel barrel for all the loot.
At least you say saw you found two Sac's in the same day - even if it's the same one. That don't happen often.
No matter how hard it tried, it didn't get away - WTG :thumbup:

Way to go on the Sac but what are those pop tops doing in there. You must have had your setting wrong.........:rofl:

Yeah there's coins to be found up against the metal poles. One day I found four quarters next to a pole. You done it the easy way and found it in one coin. :)
