Hello all, I know eberyone has heard this question probably about 100 times, but i am going to be upgradig my explorer 2 to either the SE or the E-TRAC and was wondering what one is the better detector. ive been using mneilabs for about 8 years now. thank you for any help.

you should be buying the newest technology available and that would be the Etrac. Now I say that based on all the books and posts I have read. But so there is no misleading here I am still running the XS and am very happy with it. But after reading the new Sabisch book I would have to say if I had the money I would be going after the Etrac.:usmc:

the SE...although I LOVE MINE:thumbup:

If it was me...and you do want to try a different machine...I would go with the E-Trac....but that's just my opinion ..........which is worth about 5 cents on a good day.:bouncy:

If you live anywhere else, then I heartily recommend one! It's too good of a machine and I don't want to compete with you!

Jim,

I don't think you'd want me hunting in your neck of the woods, and you know what machine I use. :minelab::detecting:

All jokes aside, any Explorer is going to find a lot of deep goodies in the ground. The true difference will be in the abilities of the user.
