Currently using a Bounty Hunter Sharp Shooter and looking to buy a new detector. Narrowed down to either a Cibola or DeLeon - looking for feedback/suggestions/comments on either.
Thanks,

welcome aboard! your question has an element of "apples & oranges" involved. one, the Cibola is unmetered, the other, the DeLeon is metered. what would you feel comfortable using? have you ever used an unmetered detector? There are people here that use and like both. Both are good detectors. But no matter what I personally prefer it may not be the best one for you. I will comment by saying you already have a metered unit and perhaps it's time to try one that is not.

If your Bounty Hunter Sharp Shooter works well in your soil, the Cibola or the DeLeon would be great.

If you have problems with your soil conditions, I would suggest a machine with manual ground balance.

The Sharp Shooter as well as the Cibola and DeLeon have preset GB. I know what BH says but it is

preset. Other companies tell that lie also.

For simplicity and power, the Cibola is great in mild to moderate soils. It's a dream.

The DeLeon has a display for support. All Tesoro's I have tried work well.

I have not used the DeLeon however, so maybe you can get some more input.

HH,

Welcome!! :clapping: Both are good machines. As mentioned, you just have to decide what you like to use. One is a beep and dig the the other has the readout and display. I've gone from using my MXT (still great machine) to using a beep and dig (though it has tone id) and I'm loving it. Both are good detectors and should serve you well in your soil conditions...
