Hi Folks,

New member here from Manchester, UK, had the Etrac for a couple of months - steep learning curve but getting used to the machine day by day.

Started detecting in the 80's, had a succesion of C-Scope machines followed by a Tesoro Silver Sabre Plus, drifted out of the hobby when the kids were younger, but I'm now back with a vengeance :wiggle:

Great forum here with lots of knowledgeable guys.

Cheers,

Russ.

Hi Russ,

Welcome from Nebraska. Glad to have you here. I wish we had the age of finds over here that you guys get there in the UK. What are some of your more memorable finds?

NebTrac

Thanks NebTrac,

Good to be here, not had the machine too long but try to get out with it as often as possible, it's true we do have bucket-fulls of history over here, I've still got to find my first Roman & my first hammered silver, I have had a nice 17th century dandy button though, my favourite finds are the silver coins, I've posted one of my faves - Geo III sixpence, I'll post more pictures of my finds for you all :)

Russ.

Russ, Welcome from Virginia. I have only been on the site for a few months and thoroughly enjoy it! I am sure you will enjoy it as well.

Welcome from Nebraska once again! I love the coins you posted!

Welcome aboard and welcome back from NW Florida, Russ!

Good to see some of you all from acrosss the pond posting here. Keep us posted on your finds.

The nice thing about the eTRAC learning curve is finding keepers in the process!
After a couple months or so of eTRAC experience, go back over the same 'learning curve' ground and you'll likely find more deeper keepers.

Thanks again for the warm welcome, I'm hunting near to a medieval manor house tomorrow, if anything of interest pops up I'll be sure to share some pictures with you all :)

Welcome to the forum Russ and good luck with your new machine ! :detecting:
